In principe wel. Maar een finoven bouwen in een huis dat onvoldoende geïsoleerd is, is bijvoorbeeld niet optimaal. Verder moet er ook rekening gehouden worden met een aantal bouwtechnische elementen zoals fundering, luchtaanvoer, rookgasafvoer enzovoort. Elke situatie is anders en vereist een specifieke aanpak.
